3. Weak On Paper, UFC 177 Did Have Action

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-q92BFtHI4 We have definitely covered how weak a card UFC 177 leading into the event. That said, for what fights there were, the main card (at least) did bring some action. The first three fights ended in finishes - a submission, followed by two TKOs. The only issue was that, while Carlos Diego Ferreira did have a nice knockout over Ramsey Nijem, and while, as he suggested after the bout, it was just what he needed on his record - did it have relevance? No, not to the division. To the fighters, of course. If you can put the lack of relevance behind you however, the main card was actually pretty action-packed, and at least made up for the lack of name value in that regard.
