"Nana-nana-nana-nanananana, Rafa Van der Vaart, Van der Vaart, Rafa Van der Vaart!" When you get your own chant at White Hart Lane, you know the fans love you - and Rafael Van der Vaart had one almost as soon as he arrived. Sung to the tune of KC and the Sunshine Band's "Give It Up", many a game would bear witness to the jovial chant of Van der Vaart's name during his time at White Hart Lane - and rightly so. The Dutchman - who signed for a bargain £8 million from Real Madrid on August the 31st of 2010, just two hours before the deadline window slammed shut (and just a day after an £18 million transfer to Bayern Munich had collapsed) - performed admirably for Spurs. In his two Premier League seasons, he bagged 24 league goals - including a joint club record of five in consecutive matches - as well as two goals in their Champions League run of 2010-11. He won Goal.com's World Player of the Week a couple of months after his arrival at the club, having made an incredible star to his Spurs career - form that would continue through much of it. He left in 2012 to join Hamburg, in what was deemed a disappointing move by Spurs fans, and he has been linked with a return on more than one occasion since. Even at the age of 31 and somewhat more injury prone these days, he'd certainly be welcomed back with open arms.
