Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen was the only player that Spurs signed last summer who truly came out of last season looking like he was worth the money. He created goals, he scored goals and he looked great at set-pieces, so if he can continue or improve upon that form this season, he will be a fantastic asset for the club again. The £11.5 million Spurs paid for him actually appears to be a steal, as his vision, flair and creativity were a class above everyone else at the club and his ten goals - seven of which came in the league - were, of course, a massive bonus. Ideally, Spurs will find the ideal trio - with Eriksen obviously being one of them - to play behind a lone striker and, if the players around Eriksen can emulate his own form, they'll be a deadly threat going forward.
