10 Most Legendary Old Firm European Nights

1. Celtic 2-1 Inter Milan (May 1967)

Celtic had already defeated the previous year€™s European Cup winners, Real Madrid and played the 1967 final against a feared Internazionale side who had won two of the three previous tournaments. Incredibly, Celtic fielded eleven players who were all born within a 22 mile radius of Parkhead, and they stormed to victory in Lisbon. Despite conceding an early goal from the penalty spot, Celtic dominated from the start and when Tommy Gemmell equalised there was only going to be one winner. Steve Chalmers scored the biggest goal in Celtic€™s history with 6 minutes to go, and in doing so cemented the Lisbon Lions' place in history.
