10 Most Legendary Old Firm European Nights

9. Celtic 4-3 Juventus (October 2001)

A somewhat controversial choice here, as the result was not enough to see Celtic through the group stage, but it was a performance to match any by a British club in Europe. Juventus featured the likes of Alessandro Del Piero, David Trezeguet and Pavel Nedved in their line up, and it was the Old Lady's legendary number 10 who put the Italian side one up with a typically fantastic free kick. Joos Valgarren quickly replied for Celtic before Chris Sutton had the Bhoys in front on the night. Trezeguet responded before a Henrik Larsson penalty put Celtic in the driving seat before Sutton fired Celtic€™s best ever European goal when he unleashed a stunning volley into the top corner. Trezeguet scored again at the end, but it wasn€™t enough to stop a rampant Celtic.
