10 Players Who Didn't Fulfil Their Potential At Spurs
8. Rohan Ricketts
Rohan Ricketts signed for Spurs as a nineteen year old from Arsenal's youth set-up in 2002 - and, for Spurs to have raided their bitter North London rivals in order to acquire his services, they must have seen something worthwhile. Of course, between 2002 and 2005, Ricketts actually performed quite well at White Hart Lane. He made thirty league appearances, scored one goal and was even reportedly being considered for an England call-up - but how he has fallen from grace since then. After loan spells at Coventry City and Wolverhampton Wanderers, he moved to Wolves on a permanent basis. Then, following a loan from Wolves to Queens Park Rangers, he went on to play for a host of relatively obscure clubs, such as Toronto F.C. in Canada, Diósgyri VTK in Hungary, F.C. Dacia Chiinu in Moldova, S.V. Wilhelmshaven in a German regional league, Shamrock Rovers in Ireland, Exeter City back in England, Dempo S.C. in India, Club Deportivo Quevedo in Ecuador and PTT Rayong F.C. in Thailand. He is now without a club. A far cry from being within touching distance of an England call-up.
