9. Ravel Morrison
Stephen Pond/PA Wire/Press Association ImagesRavel Morrison was viewed as a very exciting prospect when he broke through into the United first team in 2010, but since then some things have gone wrong for the player. The talented midfielder was fast, athletic and could score more than the odd goal, and he broke through at the same time as Paul Pogba, although the two players' careers have diverged wildly since they both left United. Whilst Pogba went on to star for France at this year's world cup and looks likely to command £60m or so if and when he moves, Morrison has been stuck on the fringes of the West Ham side, and moved out on loan to QPR in the second half of last season. He has never quite fulfilled his early promise, with his lack of maturity evident, given that he has been in trouble with the law on more than one occasion - first for drunken behaviour and also some other unsavoury incidents in Manchester City Centre. If Morrison can sort his attitude out, he may have a chance of having a good career, but at West Ham, he has been farmed out on loan to QPR where he didn't really set the world alight, despite a good start. If he has a chance of making the big time it definitely won't be with United, and you get the sense that away from a big club, he might end up going the way of formerly highly-rated bad-boy Nile Ranger.
