10 Players Spurs Should Consider Getting Rid Of

7. Younes Kaboul

Younes Kaboul has previously shown that he was one of the best defenders in the Premier League, but those days are sadly behind him. Kaboul€™s persistent injuries have hampered his form badly in recent seasons and, as such, he hasn't had much game time, has become very injury prone in general and he might not necessarily be the kind of player Spurs want to keep - he was bullied for most of the game by West Ham's attackers in the opening day win at the Boleyn Ground. Spurs have quite openly been attempting to sign a new defender this summer, with Mateo Musacchio and now Federico Fazio linked to the club and, if a new one signs, Younes Kaboul could be one of the players on the way out. Spurs have had enough problems with injury prone central defenders in recent years - Gary Mabbutt, Jonathan Woodgate and Ledley King, for example, all had terribly hampered careers thanks to injury problems - and it might be good for Spurs to have a group of consistently fully fit defenders to choose from for a change.
