Kyle Naughton arrived at Spurs at the same time as Kyle Walker in a £9 million double deal from Sheffield United - with Naughton apparently costing the majority share of that fee - and his progress in comparison to his fellow full back should be all Spurs need in terms of incentive to let him go. Naughton has made 38 Premier League appearances for Spurs - 33 of which were starts - while Walker has made 102 Premier League appearances for the club - 101 of which were starts - and earned ten England caps. Naughton is also a year and a half older than Walker at 25 (he'll be 26 in three months) and he should really have made more of an impact at the club by now. With Walker as the club's first choice right back and the likes of Eric Dier capable of filling in (and with DeAndre Yedlin set to join next year after already signing on to do so) and Ben Davies, Danny Rose and Jan Vertonghen all capable of playing at left back, Naughton could easily be considered surplus to requirements and Spurs should cash in, if possible, to replace him with someone who's going to contribute more to the first team.
