There are problems all over the pitch at the moment for Leicester and the experienced Ivorian who made over two hundred appearances for Arsenal would have given some much needed quality at the back. Only being thirty one he's certainly not well past his best but his extortionate wages likely put anyone off signing him in the transfer window just passed. He developed a reputation for some mad moments and awful displays while at Arsenal, garnering his status as something of a cult hero. With so many of Leicester's defence now the wrong side of thirty, his transfer may not have presented a particularly long term option with England under-21 defender Liam Moore still developing, Eboue's transfer may have just been another obstacle to his on going development.
