10 Reasons Liverpool Will Win The Premier League This Year
7. City Will Lack The Hunger To Win It Again
City's second Premier League crown in three years was richly deserved in the end, and they held their nerve expertly having seemingly blown the title at Anfield in April. While some expect them to go and dominate English football in the way local rivals United did for 20 years, there doesn't always appear to be the same hunger and togetherness in the squad when compared to Sir Alex Ferguson's teams of the 1990s and 2000s. On their day Manuel Pellegrini's side can be unstoppable, but they can also appear strangely disinterested at times too. Admittedly the Community Shield is one of the most pointless matches in English football, but the attitude and fight that they showed in the 3-0 loss to Arsenal at Wembley is the perfect example of this. While their record at the Etihad is unrivalled in recent times, the champions can be a little guilty of slipping up in relatively easy away games, and when things don't go to plan they do have egos in their side who can thrown their toys out of the pram a little. Yaya Toure, Samir Nasi and Edin Dzeko, i'm looking at you! Whether they have the same drive to win the title again this season is debatable, and any slight slip-up could be critical in a league that is becoming increasingly difficult to win.
