10. Last Season's Convincing Victory At Old Trafford
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKEEasXUlk8 Last season at Old Trafford was good not just in the Capital One Cup but also in the league for Sunderland. On the way to the jaw-dropping miracle great escape adventure at the end of last season under Gus Poyet the Black Cats also managed to secure our first victory at Old Trafford since 1968. That is something all fans can be proud of - not to mention the side - especially when the three points technically kept Sunderland in the Premier League. Normally a win at Old Trafford can be seen as lucky or an off day for United but the 1-0 victory, thanks to a lovely volley from Seb Larsson after some great wing play by Connor Wickham, was nothing other than fully deserved. Sunderland played free flowing football and were a crossbar's width away from a wonder goal that included a touch from every single player. One thing for certain is when the Man Utd coaches and training staff review the DVD of their last defeat to Sunderland they will be hoping the passing and possession stats are nowhere near what they were last May. This 1-0 result really was a good day for Sunderland AFC and their supporters who will be hoping they can match this performance on Sunday in front of the Sky TV cameras.
