10 Spurs Goals That Were Downright Cheeky

3. Ricky Villa's Run Vs Manchester City

Venue: Wembley. Season: 1980/81. Score: 3-2 Win. Is this the most famous Spurs goal of all time? Probably - and it was voted Wembley goal of the century - but Argentinian legend Ricky Villa had some nerve even attempting it. It was the FA Cup Final for heaven's sake - albeit a replay - and Spurs were tied 2-2 with Manchester City with less than fifteen minutes left. Villa received the ball thirty yards from goal and proceeded to skip past four defenders before slotting the ball past City goalkeeper Joe Corrigan. Epic. Spurs won the match 3-2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BT7IvpxhA3Q
