10 Spurs Players Who Were Extremely Versatile

10. Eric Dier

Time At Spurs: 2014-Present. Positions: Centre Back, Right Back, Defensive Midfielder. Englishman Eric Dier joined Spurs as a relative unknown from Sporting Club de Portugal in the summer of 2014. Although he has tried to box himself in as a centre back (by leaving England Under-21 duty with the intention of cementing his place as such in the Spurs team), he has deputised more than ably at right back in the absence of Kyle Walker this season, while he also proved himself capable of playing as a defensive midfielder during his time in Portugal. His two goals in his first two Premier League games - one of which was taken like a seasoned goalscorer against West Ham United - also showed that he could probably play up front if he wanted as well!
