A product of both Arsenal and Spurs' youth system,s Jamie O'Hara made 56 first team appearances for Spurs - 34 of which were in the Premier League - between 2005 and 2011. Under Martin Jol and Juande Ramos, he started to establish himself in the first team and looked to have a decent future ahead of him at White Hart Lane, but the arrival of Harry Redknapp in 2008 saw the beginning of his downfall. Having previously been loaned out to Chesterfield and Millwall as part of his development when he was a youngster, Redknapp loaned O'Hara out to Portsmouth and Wolves because he was no longer wanted and, in 2011, he signed for Wolves permanently for £3.5 million. He missed much of his first full season with the club and, by the time he returned to full fitness, they were in the Championship. After three and a half years at Molineux, his contract was terminated by mutual consent - he was just 27 years old. Now 28, he has signed a short-term with fellow Championship strugglers Blackpool, as they weren't prepared to invest in the former Spurs player long-term.
