10 World Footballers Premier League Clubs Should Sign This Summer
4. Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid)
If you believe some reports, Premier League teams may have left this one too late. Griezmann has been heavily linked to La Liga giants Barcelona over recent months, with one or two journalists claiming a deal between the two parties is close to being struck.
You can definitely see the French international lining up alongside Lionel Messi at the Nou Camp, although therein lies one potential problem from his point of view: being in the shadow of the greatest footballer of all-time isn't always fun, as Neymar came to find out.
Should he favour a leading role, Griezmann may instead look to move to Manchester United, who were said to have pulled out of a deal to buy him last summer after Jose Mourinho decided to opt for a more traditional number nine in Romelu Lukaku.
Aside from the Red Devils, it's difficult to see where he could go. Perhaps City at a push, although they'd likely have to get Sergio Aguero off their books first, which is a tall order given his age and the fact that he has openly stated his intention to return to Argentina in 2020.
