Max Gradel has recently put pen to paper on a four-year deal at the Vitality Stadium, which is great news for Bournemouth fans who have yet to see him take off since returning to the club last year. Having proved a hit at the club on loan from Leicester City back in 07/08, the winger penned a deal at the club last summer to make his move permanent.

After dismantling Carl Jenkinson’s career piece by piece in a thrilling 4-3 win at Upton Park last August, the wheels came off for the talented Ivorian when he tore a cruciate ligament against his former club Leicester. He wouldn’t play again until February.

So what does Gradel offer? As demonstrated by his virtuoso strike against Swansea in March, he is a pure-bred goalscorer. In his last fully-fit season, he bagged 17 goals from a wide position - for Saint-Etienne in Ligue 1.

For Leeds United, there was a season in which he scored 18. However, the Ivorian international is also notoriously inconsistent. But with a full pre-season under his belt, the former Leicester and Leeds winger should be raring to sink his teeth into some full-backs this forthcoming campaign and bag some goals.
