8. Moussa Sissoko Looks Set To Be Given More Of A Free Role
United employed a 4-2-3-1 formation on Friday night with Sissoko playing on the right hand side of the attacking midfield three. However, the shackles were well and truly taken off the Frenchman, who was quite literally all over the shop. It was clear for all the see that one of the saviours on the final day of last season has been putting in plenty of work during the off season. The amount of miles he covered during that first half could have threatened to reach treble figures. He didn't stop all forty-five... Moussa strutted his stuff on the night, making a mockery of the Heed players at times. All his performance needed was a goal. So we won't mention that he missed an open net after a lung bursting run from deep... The number seven's first shot was saved by Sam Russell, but as you will have probably seen on social media, his rebound was ballooned over the top with the goal gaping.
