6. Man City win Premier League, 2012

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qc-kTOsKQnk When Alex Ferguson had labelled Manchester City with the moniker "noisy neighbours" it was during a period of continued hope for the blues. Over many years, new owners had taken over and ploughed huge sums of money into player recruitment and apart from a solitary League Cup in 1976, success had remained elusive. Following their triumph in the FA Cup the season before, further squad rebuilding placed City in a position to finally ascend to the Premier League throne. Cue the final game, a home tie against lowly QPR and a seemingly easy route to glory. For the normal 90 minutes, City appeared destined to retain the tag of merely being noisy neighbours as they went behind and all seemed lost. What followed was the most incredible finish to an English league championship since Michael Thomas' last ditch clincher for Arsenal against Liverpool in 1989. With two injury time goals to seal the win and be in a position to be taken seriously in the city of Manchester, fans' relief exploded in a pitch invasion worthy of such a memorable win.
