5. Jack Colback
On 9th June 2014, Jack Colback became the first player in 16 years to swap his red and white shirt, for black and white, and the fallout was huge. Newcastle-born Colback was brought through the Sunderland youth setup, and became a consistent figure in the Black Cats' midfield before his contract ran down, and their arch-rivals swooped in to poach him. It was a bitter pill to swallow for Sunderland fans, as Colback's transfer announcement heavily emphasised his love for his 'boyhood club', when in reality, the fiery-haired midfielder had shushed the Newcaslte fans after his goal for Sunderland during the second 3-0 derby win.
