15 Biggest Sunderland Villains

14. Ahmed Elmohamady

Ahmed Elmohamady is the first of two Hull players who ruined their reputations after they had left the club. Elmo was never the most popular player for Sunderland, due to the fact that he was a winger who's only talent was heading the ball down from goal kicks. There was no real remorse from the majority of Black Cats' fans as he was sent off to Hull, he was just an average player making an average exit after a promising start to his Sunderland career before the novelty wore off. However, the Egyptian's constant whinging, diving, and borderline cheating incensed the locals on his return to the Stadium of Light, and has earned him the pantomime villain tag on Wearside.
