Tim Krul is believed to be contemplating life away from St James€™ Park and Newcastle United are planning for such an eventuality - by plotting to raid already-relegated Burnley for goalkeeper Tom Heaton. The 29-year-old goalkeeper could be prised away from Lancashire for somewhere in the region of £2 million this summer and he performed admirably in a side who were always destined to struggle last season. A return of 10 Premier League clean sheets is a decent record for Heaton considering Burnley finished second-bottom of the table and were demoted with two games still remaining. Former England Under-21 stopper Heaton progressed through the youth ranks at Manchester United before spending time on loan at clubs including Royal Antwerp, Cardiff City and Queens Park Rangers. He then moved to Cardiff permanently in 2012, before spending a season at Bristol City and then joining Burnley in 2013.
