It's a surprise that Francisco Sandaza wasn't chased out of Glasgow with pitchforks, given his disrespectful treatment of Rangers. Stupidly tricked into believing a cold-caller was an agent who had contacts in several clubs playing in the English Championship, the striker bad-mouthed the Ibrox outfit and pretty much said he was only playing for Rangers "for the money". A decent player during spells at both Dundee United and St. Johnstone, the Spaniard should have been able to show his modest amount of skill and flare in the Third Division, but he was simply too concerned with his bank balance to really become anything valuable. In 2012, Rangers were incredibly fragile, and it's a horrendous thought for many Rangers fans that arrogant, deceitful individuals such as Sandaza were allowed to play a part in the club's tremendous history. Traditionally, his kind of mindset would have been booted out the door, but the whole Sandaza experience was one which left a bitter taste in the mouths of many at Ibrox.
