2017 NBA Draft Lottery: 10 Ideal Selections For The First 10 Teams
1. Sacramento Kings (Again) - <span Style="font-size: 15px;">Zach Collins</span>
Thanks to the trade that sent All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins to the New Orleans Pelicans, the Sacramento Kings have two picks in the top 10. They'll most likely fulfil their (desperate) need for a new point guard at #5, so they should use #10 to fill a hole elsewhere on their significantly flawed roster. Gonzaga center Zach Collins should get the call here.
The seven footer has a reliable three point stroke, sinking .476% of his triples in college, and he projects to be a solid rim protector in the NBA, having averaged 1.8 blocks per game in just 17.3 minutes per game last season.
The former Bulldog could start at power forward alongside incumbent center Willie Cauley-Stein, giving their front court a new dimension on offense and creating a fearsome duo on defense capable of dissuading opposing point guards from entering the paint.
