4 Villains (And 6 Heroes) From Newcastle 0-1 Arsenal

5. Moussa Sissoko

Moussa Sissoko was very impressive as Newcastle battled to keep themselves in the game and despite a couple of rash challenges (including one worse than the one that got Aleksandar Mitrovic sent off) the midfielder was a constant threat going forward. His tireless endeavour meant that the Magpies stayed in the game and the player looked the most likely to create anything in Arsenal's penalty area. With the transfer window now closed, the 26-year-old is at Newcastle for at least another few months and it is good to see him performing at a high level for the club. Steve McClaren has stated that he wants to build the team around the midfielder and hopefully we will now see the best of Sissoko who is an extremely gifted footballer.
