Speculation continues to grow at the Emirates that right back Bacary Sagna is on his way out of the club. The French international has been at Arsenal since 2007, but at 31-years-old this could be his last contract and as such he may be willing to leave in pursuit of a longer, more lucrative deal. As he did when Ashley Cole and Gael Clichy left, Wenger may look to promote from within. Kieran Gibbs has grown into his role at left back and there is no reason why Hector Bellerin could not compete with Carl Jenkinson for the right back spot. A pacy and attacking full back, Bellerin joined Arsenal back in 2011 from Barcelona. Unsurprisingly, he possess many of the Catalan clubs characteristics and endeavours to play the ball out from defence. Like many full backs, Bellerin spent most of his youth career playing as a winger, before being converted into a defender. At 19-years-old, Bellerin is not yet the finished article, but he is a talent worth considering. He earned praise for his recent loan spell at Championship sid Watford, impressing during his four month spell at the club. While Serge Aurier remains linked as a replace for Sagna, dont be surprised if Wenger once again turns to youth and gives Bellerin a chance in the first team.
