5 Borussia Mönchengladbach Players Newcastle Must Be Wary Of

5. Thorgan Hazard

Following nicely in his brother Eden's footsteps, Thorgan Hazard is developing into a fine talent. The 22-year-old made 38 appearances last season scoring five goals and, after also making 10 assists, that convinced Borussia to sign him permanently for £5.8 million from Chelsea. Hazard matured over the course of last season and began to develop the industrious side of his game in the same way Jose Mourinho demanded that his brother did.

In the Europa League last season he was a near permanent fixture, starting all but two games right through from the group stage to the knockouts. The Belgian's eye for a pass is fantastic and he is always looking for his teammates as he advances into the final third.

Hazard is still developing and his confidence will continue to grow. Newcastle will have to look out for the midfielder's killer pass and expert set-pieces.
