Sandro is a huge and very likeable character in the Spurs dressing room. He's loved by the fans and players alike and he's someone you imagine that nobody would have any problem following and looking up to. A dominant midfield enforcer, if Sandro's captaincy turned out to be as influential as his formidable presence on the pitch, he could take Tottenham far. Having missed out on a place in Brazil's World Cup squad, giving Sandro the armband at White Hart Lane would go a long way to easing the pain and disappointment of being overlooked and it could prompt him to take his play to the next level and cement his place in the starting eleven.
