2. Papiss Cisse
The Senegalese striker really is playing for his Newcastle United future, despite speculation linking him with a move to Turkey or Russia this summer. Negative press has followed Cisse around like a cloud over the past 12 months and yet more surfaced with allegations in The Sun on Tuesday about the forward's personal life, yet the 30-year-old has just gone about his business on the pitch without letting it affect him. Having scored the winner against Gateshead, Cisse was unable to find the target against Club Atlas but he did provide an assist for Moussa Sissoko - and he harried the opposition defence all game. Also noticeably dropping deeper to receive the ball and link up play in the last couple of matches, Cisse really wants to remain Newcastle's No 9 it seems.
