5. Edinson Cavani
Michel Spingler/AP/Press Association ImagesIt was a difficult first season in Paris for Edinson Cavani. After a summer move to the French capital last year, a deal which saw the Qatari-owned side fork out over £50 million, the Uruguayan only showed glimpses of his prolific form from his Napoli days. He ended the season with 25 goals in 43 games, a good return, but it pales into insignificance when you consider his strike partner Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted 41 times in 45 matches. Indeed the Swede now has 76 goals in 91 appearances for PSG, demonstrating that he is clearly the main man. Zlatans presence has reportedly been the cause behind
Cavani being unsettled. It has forced the Uruguayan to be played out wide, a role that does not particularly suit his game. When played through the middle at Napoli, the 27-year-old scored over 30 goals in all three of his seasons there. Cavanis track record makes him an ideal replacement for his fellow countryman Luis Suarez, while his athletic build and strength means he would suit the Premier League. Liverpool would face a fight to sign him however, with rivals
Manchester United also thought to be keen on bringing the PSG striker to England.
