4. Scott Brown
Yeah it was a sending off. Neymar got booed out of Glasgow but let's be realistic, he's behaved exactly the same way as Sameras would've. I know Brooney's barely touched him but violent conduct carries a 2/3 match ban and our captain should've known better. He was lucky not to get a ban after the Shakhter Karagandy game! I don't want to laud too much criticism on Brown because he knows better than anyone how foolish he was. Hopefully he'll learn from this tough lesson. Scott Brown as a player has developed so much over the last few years and I really see him as the heartbeat of the squad. After the England vs Scotland game Frank Lampard praised Scott Brown's performance and such recognition from a high profile peer was long overdue in my eyes. Had this rush of blood been vented on a hard tackle or kicking the ball away Scott Brown would've been on hand for the moments when our concentration seemed to slip. He was sorely missed against AC Milan and in both Ajax games. In replacement we fielded Beram Kayal who I think looked closer to his best since 2010 but Brown's influence on the team was irreplaceable.
Aaron Murphy
I'm Aaron from England and I've got for football what Russell Brand had for sex and heroin. I follow Celtic & Barcelona religiously and spend hours watching the majority of televised games. Kinda depressing when you write it down but i'm happy with my existence.
