It seems that everybody was surprised that Romelu Lukaku was allowed to go on loan again this season. After an extremely successful spell at West Brom last year it was expected that he would stay at Chelsea but he didn't and Everton were the side to benefit. I bet Chelsea are regretting that decision now considering the form of their current crop of strikers and the displays that the young Belgian has been showing in Everton's colours. He current tally stands at nine Premier League goals and he almost took that number to double figures in the recent victory over Norwich, with his goal being ruled out for offside. The young striker has scored some very important goals this season including two in the Merseyside derby that finished 3-3. He also scored against Manchester City, though he couldn't his side from defeat. He hasn't scored in a while but that takes nothing away from his ability. He's a nightmare for defenders and picks up a fair few assists, as well as creating countless opportunities for his teammate. His movement alone does this. If he doesn't stay at Chelsea next year I'll be very surprised. Even more so if he doesn't and none of the big clubs come knocking. In a World Cup year he's certainly not doing himself any harm.
