During the course of the season you will concede goals, it's inevitable. You will also fall behind on a fair few occasions, sometimes against sides you really don't expect to. The best sides keep on playing and get a result, it's what separates the best from the average. The very best sides are able to do this very late on, with all the odds stacked against them and when it looks like dropping points is on the agenda. This is when the top sides rattle through and turn things into their favour or save themselves. Just look at Manchester United over the years. This season Everton have won eight points thanks to goals after the 80th mark, a staggering statistic that puts them above the rest of the 19 teams in the league on this particular area. They simply don't give up. When you're trailing it's easy to let your heads drop, especially late on. Not for Everton, they'll have none of it. Expect a fight right up until the final whistle and don't be surprised if the flow of the match changes late on. The never say die attitude is clear at Everton and it's worked in their favour this season. Without those points they would sit eighth in the table and a fair way off the Champions League battle.
