Frankly, they don't have any forwards that are capable of keeping them in the division even after the mid-season transfer window. Goals are obviously a huge factor in football and Stoke really do struggle to get them. They've scored six goals in 2014 and half of them came in a defeat to Liverpool- which incidentally was only the third time the side had reached that tally in a game this season and they only won one of those games. Charlie Adams brace against United help cement himself as the clubs top scorer in the league this season, scoring the same amount of goals as Peter Crouch and Oussama Assaidi combined. Peter Odemwingie arrived to help but even he hasn't be capable of regular goalscoring and can be described as a one season wonder after that tremendous season at West Brom a few years back. It would of been painful to see Kenwyne Jones on the scoresheet for Cardiff at the weekend if Stoke hadn't emerged victorious. The Potters strike force really needs to buck up their ideas if they want to avoid the drop.
