Though its not the greatest film of all time, the rags to riches story of Newcastle striker Santiago Munez should have made Michael Owen embarrassed for his own fall from grace on Tyneside. The Mexican striker overcame poverty, the death of his father, bullying team-mates and asthma to make it for Newcastle, doing it the hard way, and earning himself - ironically - a move to Real Madrid after firing the Magpies into the Champion League. Clearly a ridiculous fantasists dream, but one that proved the virtues of hard-work and big rewards. Ironically, the third film in the increasingly poor franchise detailed Munezs missing out on the World Cup finals thanks to catastrophic injury. Its like someone was actually paying attention to the key points of Owens career, but did them all backwards.
