Another player with a great goal scoring record in Holland is Wilfried Bony, who scored 51 goals in 69 games for Vitesse Arnhem which earned him the club record £12 million move to Swansea City. Since that move Bony has struggled to justify the price tag. As tends to happen with a lot of new players to the league, it has taken Bony some time to settle into the Premier League pace, and goals have been far more difficult to come by than in Holland (as has also proved the case in past transfers involving strikers and the two leagues.) Moving into 2014, there are signs that we are about to see the real Wilfried Bony: he scored two great goals at home to Manchester City in the league and then followed that up with a late winner in the FA Cup at Old Trafford to help Swansea win there for the first time in their history. With bargain man Michu going somewhat off the boil and struggling with injuries, Bony will be Swanseas main man upfront and it will be no surprise if he scores 15+ Premier League goals in 2014.
