2. The Londoners Are In A Complete Mess... They Have A Dressing Room Full Of "Bad Eggs" And Are Fighting Among Themselves
Former Magpies midfielder Joey Barton, who is never someone to keep his mouth shut for too long, has already claimed the QPR dressing room is full of "bad eggs" and that some of the players are riddled with "staggering complacency". Considering he said this before they were relegated, this proves how dysfunctional a club QPR really is right now. Threatened with a £50 million-plus fine from the Football League for breaking financial fair play rules the last time they were in the Championship, QPR are on a downward spiral that does not look like stopping anytime soon. Barton appeared to argue with Steven Caulker and Shaun Wright-Phillips during the embarrassing defeat at Man City, and the midfielder has already been involved in a couple of altercations with QPR supporters this season too. QPR are in a mess and they will simply not be focused on playing another Premier League match now they have been relegated. Newcastle MUST capitalise on that and claim all three points at Loftus Road against a distracted and, quite frankly, abject QPR side.
