7 Newcastle Players Who Deserve A Chance To Help The Magpies Survive

1. Rolando Aarons

Rolando Aarons has made just three Premier League appearances for Newcastle United - yet his goal-scoring exploits off the bench against Crystal Palace and in the Capital One Cup victory away at Manchester City showed the winger has raw ability sadly lacking from the first team at the moment. At 19 he is vastly inexperienced but every time he has taken to the field for Newcastle - the last occasion being before he suffered a recurrence of a hamstring injury back in November - he has provided pace, trickery, excitement, intent and, most importantly, end product. Frustratingly sidelined for such a long period this season with a recurring hamstring problem, Newcastle fans had all but given up hope of seeing the Jamaican-born England Under-20 international again this campaign - but there is talk he may return to the squad, and if he does, he needs to be given at least 20 minutes off the bench to help inspire the Magpies to the victory that would ensure the club's Premier League survival for another season.
