Its been two years since the Rossoneri began a campaign in the Champions League, and this time former Internazionale assistant manager, Sinisa Mihajlovic, is tasked with returning the seven time winners to Europe's top table. Four managers have tried and failed in the last two years, so with the high pressure and low chance of success, it was a risk for the former Sampdoria man to take on the job.

like Inter though, money has been made available at Milan this year and the club have already brought in Columbian, Carlos Bacca, and Brazilian, Luiz Adriano, to bolster their attack. With those two having scored 49 goals between them last season, and with Milan's top scorer, Keisuke Honda, only netting six, a higher placed finish than 10th is certainly attainable. However, Milan will have to compete with the likes of Juventus, Roma and Lazio for one of those top three spots, not to mention Napoli and Fiorentina.

This seasons Serie A will be extremely competitive and the Diavolo will be hoping they can claw back some self respect and return to the Champions League, or at the very least finish above Inter.
