Brendan Rodgers had early managerial stints at Reading FC, Chelsea and Watford, however it wasn't until he gained promotion to the Premier League with Swansea that he gained some notoriety among the larger clubs.

In June 2012 Rodgers became the manager of Liverpool FC and led them to runners-up in the 13/14 season, a year where many had them tipped to be the winners. In Oct 2015 the decision was taken to dismiss Rodgers as performances were not at the standard the club wanted.

May 2016 saw Rodgers installed as the manager at Celtic FC and he hit the ground running, leading the team to a domestic unbeaten run for the entire season and winning the domestic treble for 2 seasons in a row.

His 3rd season was cut short when he opted for a move back to the Premier League with Leicester city where he has rejuvenated the style of play and is really working on a project with the Foxes.

Currently residing in 2nd place, above Manchester City and only being bested by this world beating Liverpool team, Rodgers really has extended his purple patch into managing a Premier League title chasing football team.
