3. Andre Gray

Andre Gray has rode the highs and lows of English football. Gray started gaining the interest of Championship clubs while at Luton Town, where he proved to be a potent goalscorer with a record of more than a goal a game in the lower leagues.

After his success at Luton he was brought up the the Championship with Brentford for the 14/15 season where he had relative success up front. However, it was the following season when he was purchased by Burnley, and helped them in their charge into the Premier League with 23 goals in 41 games, that earned the striker some notoriety.

Gray's first season in the top flight was not as successful as his previous ones as he only managed 9 goals in 32 appearances. After this he made the switch to his current team Watford. The switch to the hornets did not bring any more luck to his game and he only scored 12 goals in 60 appearances over the 2 seasons preceding the current 19/20 installment.

That brings us up to date where Andre Gray has saw himself relegated to the bench since November due to poor performances and only a return of 2 Premier League goals. This is a net return of £35k a week per goal, as Watford currently pay the out of form striker £70k per week for the honour of taking his place on the hornets bench. Somehow I think they will need to re-evaluate finances in the near future.
