8 Things Allen Learned From NUFC Boss John Carver

5. That The NUFC Boss Accepts Some Of The Current Players "Aren't Good Enough"

One of Allen's most-revealing tweets was this: "Carver accepts that some of the players aren't good enough but he has know one (no-one) else to play because of injuries." This is an interesting assertion seeing as Carver insisted when he took over that he had a great squad of players who were capable of finishing in the Premier League's top seven if they had a good run - which obviously hasn't materialised. There is no mention of the exact players that Carver was referring to - but the assumption is he means the likes of Yoan Gouffran, Gabriel Obertan and Mike Williamson, to name but a few.
