Apparently John Carver has tried to convince Mike Williamson to not just to hoof the ball aimlessly upfield every time he receives it - but that simply hasn't come to fruition. The big centre-back still does this, despite Carver's claims he regularly asks him to stop, and therefore this doesn't look likely to change any time in the near future.
