9 Reasons Why Charlie Austin Should Sign For Newcastle

9. Austin Would Remain A Premier League Player

Once the 2014-15 Premier League season was over, Charlie Austin gave all the right noises and told QPR fans exactly what they wanted to hear - that his future was up in the air and he was not ruling out remaining at Loftus Road. However, the reality of the situation is that QPR fans - as well as Charlie Austin himself - know that the forward will not be pulling on the blue-and-white-hooped shirt next season. The west London club were relegated and, with Austin being the second-best-performing English striker in the Premier League last season, he will want to continue his exponential rise in the top flight. Obviously that cannot be with QPR - but at Newcastle, who survived (albeit only just) last season, he could continue to develop into a top-class Premier League forward.
