Arsenal: 5 Reason Why Fans Shouldn't Worry

2. Wenger Has Been Written Off Before

Predictably all this discontent has fallen at Wenger's door. He has failed to deliver this summer with only one signing and Sanogo is certainly not the marquee signing the Gunners fans were promised. However, with fans calling for his 17 year spell at the club to be cut to an end I can't help but think this sounds awfully familiar . It seems to happen every year, Arsenal have a poor performance or they lose a couple of games and Wenger get vilified. Only last year around Christmas, the fans had lost confidence in Wenger and he came through it and got Arsenal into 4th spot, beating rivals Tottenham with an 10 games unbeaten end to the season. Wenger has took Arsenal along way since he took charge in 1996, having transformed their style of play and introducing way players take care of themselves off the field, which has been copied by everyone now. After 17 years I'm sure Wenger isn't finished and he surely wants to end this 8 year trophy drought.
