Arsenal: 5 Reason Why Fans Shouldn't Worry

1. 37 Games To Go

Yes the defeat at home against Aston Villa was disappointing and Arsenal shouldn't be throwing away a lead at home against a side that spent last season in a relegation battle. However I can't help but feel that the Arsenal fans reacted is a bit prematurely. You only have lost one game, meaning there are 37 left this season. That's 3330 minutes of Premier League football left (plus injury time) and most importantly 111 points left up for grabs. That is plenty of time and points left to turn it around. The next two league games present a tough challenge as they come up against Fulham at Craven Cottage and arch rivals Tottenham Hotspurs at the Emirates. In the same fixtures last season they came away with victories in both, including a 5-2 hammering of Spurs. It will not be easy but even 4 points form these next two games could help the squad with confidence and a victory over AVB's Spurs would certainly get the fans on side. Villa came close to snatching a draw at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening, this shows that Villa are a force and with Benteke up front they could give anyone a game. I'm sure Arsenal won't be the only big side the Villains beat this season. So Arsenal fans calm down and watch Wenger and the team bounce back and show real character for the rest of the season.
