1. Being Named Wales Captain
Many were shocked when the captaincy of the Wales national side was given to Ramsey, as at the time he was still in the process of getting his form back and was at the time still only 20-years-old, becoming the youngest captain in Wales' history. Despite the armband since being given to Swansea City's Ashley Williams when Chris Coleman took over as boss, Ramsey has remained vice-captain and has deputised for the injured Williams on several occasions. Being handed such a responsibility at such a young age forced Ramsey to grow up fast, the fruits of which we are now seeing in his form for both club and country. He looks a much more mature player, and is certainly taking an approach of leading by example, wearing the No.10 shirt for The Dragons with pride, and giving his all in every game. This has then spread to his performances for the Gunners, and the Emirates faithful have enjoyed seeing their new star fulfil the promise he had as a youngster. Arsenal have now been rewarded for their faith and time in Ramsey, and with a contract that runs until 2018, his star is set to shine brightly in north London for some time to come. What do you think of Ramsey's rise? Will he be able to continue it?
