4. Lack Of Faith From The Players

When you watch Arsenal play in big games, you get the feeling that the players don€™t believe in themselves as much as they perhaps should. After such a drought of silverware for such a big club, it is natural for the changing room to start asking questions about the leadership of their manager. I can understand some of the players struggling to motivate themselves to play for a manager who seems to be past his prime. Would the likes of Van Persie and Alex Song have left Arsenal last summer if they really believed they would be winning trophies at the club? Maybe a new authority figure to look up to would help re-focus the current players, and give them the encouragement they need to start winning?
