4. Carl Jenkinson
The 20 year old signed from Charlton has had a baptism of fire over the last year or so but his performances have improved rapidly. Despite being ruled out for three months last season, Jenkinson has played almost as much as Sagna over the last year and a half, and also made his senior debut for England in the friendly against Sweden, when Zlatan Ibrahimovics overhead kick and four goals earned all the headlines. Jenkinson is the typical Wenger player young, with potential that can be drawn out. Sagna is the opposite ageing, increasingly injury prone, with an increasing ego. Selling Sagna may give Jenkinson the shot of confidence he needs to move to the next level. The difference in their levels of performances this season is hardly noticeable, and while Sagna at his best is a superior player, it is arguable that his best days are behind him, at least in an Arsenal shirt. A new challenge might suit the player, and Arsenal will not miss out.
