Arsenal Transfers: 10 DREAM Signings Arsene Wenger Could Make

6. Angel di Maria

Another option to replace the speed and pace lost by Theo Walcott€™s sad injury is Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria. Di Maria is a long-term target of Arsenal€™s and was also linked with Spurs as part of the deal to take Gareth Bale to the Bernabeu last summer. In the end he stayed put but has toiled this season, scoring just the three goals under Carlo Ancelotti. And the pacey Argentine is facing an increasingly-uncertain future in the Spanish capital after grabbing his crotch in an angry gesture directed at Ancelotti when he was subbed off earlier this month. That has led to speculation the supposedly-unhappy and unsettled star could be sold, and Arsenal may well be waiting in the wings if that is the case as they look to add more width to their squad.
